The day I met you I was young and to the environment I was new,
I didn't know how to adapt to the atmosphere and also to you.
I remember being shy, scared and frustrated,
But being away from you was the only thing that I hated.
You taught me to be focus on the future, and that the past was old news,
You gave me a hunger to win and an attitude when I lose.
You taught me to be loyal and to treat everyone fair,
You taught me to listen and to show that I care.
I remember the times when people matched up and tried to play cupid,
And also the fun rides on the bus becuase we used to act very stupid.
I remember this other time when you invited us out of our county,
We stood at a place in Canada & the next day got kicked out of the Country.
Those times was great, being young and acting a fool,
Thanks for the life lessons and the memories of the O'School.
You were there for me at the good and the bad,
You were a sign of relief when it's cool or sad.
I appreciate you more now then I have ever before,
And from the bottom of my heart I'll always love you Drum Corps.
